Monday Choon: Gareth Emery - Concrete Angel
So Ultra Music Festival wasnt a long while ago and for me one of the best sets from the event had to be Gareth Emery's. It also fell part of ASOT 550 and one of the most popular songs was Concrete Angel. Some say the song is a bit too "commercial" but I dont think it is compared to what David Guetta has been doing the past 3 years. You listen and decide.

Monday Choon: W & W - The Invasion (ASOT550 Anthem)
Armin Van Buuren and his hit radion show A State of Trance recently celebrated 550 episodes, with it came many a tour around the globe. This time around they selected an anthem for the tour and W&W's "the invasion" was chosen. Pretty appropriate if you ask me as they invaded many cities world wide with their epic trance parties.

Bucket Babe: Lee-Ann Roberts
The one weekend in April thats a short one, never the less the Bucket intends on getting it off to a great start with the Bucket Babe! Today marks a special day being my birthday and it gives me great pleasure to have one of my all time favourites and very good friend of mine featured today. One of Durbans finest, not only has she taken Cape Town by storm but the rest of the world as well! Asia, Europe, shes conquering them one by one. If you purchased this years FHM calendar you would notice that she was the handed the first month of the year, and is also the model for Kangol lingerie. I could go on and on but I'll rather let her do as she is todays star.
Q & A:
1. Hot girls and hot cars go hand in hand, what ride would you like to see yourself in?
Lamborghini Gallardo definitely, always been my favorite!
2. What sandwich are you most likely to make for me? and will it be toasted or plain?
Mmmm u seem like a toasted kind of guy, and I would make you a toasted
cheese as that is always a winner with anyone and you would be
satisfied.
3. What type of music gets your booty shaking?
Neelix!!
4. Dream cover shoot?
This is a tough one, there are so many covers I'd be honored to be on, also depends locally or internationally. I recently did a cover which I am so happy about and so honored to have done but its hush hush for now will be out soon.
5. If modeling wasn't an option, what career would you have most like to get in to?
Law, going to study it either from mid year or I'll start next year.
6. Everyone loves popcorn (well I think they do) what's your topping/ sprinkle of choice?
Popcorn is my favorite, I eat it almost everyday haha but I try to have breaks.. topping def salt and vinegar. When I was young my friend and I use to pour the liquid vinegar on, so yummy.
7. Anyone holding that hand yet? or is it available?
Haha I dont kiss and tell, put it this way though im not tied down.
8. Growing up you must have had someone you aspired to be, so who is your role model?
The Spice Girls haha, sporty spice to be exact.. *hides face* now that is totally different of course.
9. Obviously being a female you would love fashion, favourite label/ designer?
I like all different for specific things Versace (clothes) , Roberto Cavalli (sunnies) , Chanel (clothes and perfume) ,Christian louboutin (shoes),stella McCartney (clothes) and Louis Vuitton (handbags)
10. Which city is your dream party destination?
Vegas!!

Monday Choon: Arty, Matisse & Sadko - Trio
Arty has got to be one of my favourite DJ's in the trance area. From Russia he completely blew me away with his sets at ASOT500 and this year he managed to do it again at ASOT550. His remix of Dmad - She gave me happiness has been my cell phone ringtone for the past 2 years and it still sounds good. For his new release he has teamed up with Matisse and Sadko to produce "Trio". Aptly named since its by the 3 of them and its being playing world over by all the top DJ's, recieved a great reception at ASOT550 and Ultra. There isnt a music video out of it and I doubt there will be one but here is the song none the less.

Recipe: Alfredo revised
Being a Hindu and of Gujerati decent, I find myself being told to fast (abstain from eating meat) quite often in my life. Heck, by right Gujerati's are meant to be full on vegetarians! Luckily my family saw past that one, not sure how my life would have been without KFC!
Anyway, moving along, as mentioned before I do have to fast a lot and a few Sundays back I was tasked to make some lunch. I really wanted to have an Alfredo but instead of opting for the usual Alfredo, I decided to change things around abit. Here's how it went down.
Ingredients
200g tagliatelle pasta
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
half cup flour
500ml milk
50-80g Parmesan cheese
Italian dried herbs
black pepper
english mustard powder
2 mushrooms
1 green chilli
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tsp olive oil
2/3 fresh chives
2 sticks fresh thyme
Method
Start off by putting the pasta to boil, I find the tagliatelle to be rather long so I break them in half and put them into a pot of boiling water with a pinch of salt and some oil.
Next step is to start the sauce going, in a sauce pan add you butter and wait for it to melt. Once melted, add your flour and stir continiously with a wooden spoon. Once the mixture has turned into a paste and turned golden brown, add your milk and continue to stir. You have to keep on stirring so your sauce stays smooth and will have no lumps. Add your salt, mustard, black pepper, parmesean cheese and Italian herbs. Keep stirring until the sauce has a thick texture, remove from the hot plate and stir in your chives and thyme.
Now, this is where things take a slight turn. In a large frying pan, add the olive oil, crushed garlic and chopped chilli.
Slice the mushrooms and add to frying pan. Drain the pasta well making sure all of the water is out. Allow to stand a cool for a bit and then add it to the frying pan. Try to crispen the pasta while turning regularly.
Once done, plate the pasta in a deep plate, pour some of the sauce over and enjoy!

Monday Choon: Tiesto - Maximal Crazy
The first big name DJ I witnessed live was Tiesto, the man is no doubt a legend in the EDM world. With his Club Life albums and record playing set at the 2006 Athens Olympics ceremony, the man has done it all. Most recent his songs were like a mixed bag, with him playing regularly in Vegas, his style shifted more to the US market with many of his songs getting vocals added by other US artists such Busta Rhymes on "C'mon" but his latest offering took me by surprise. The song "Maximal Crazy" debuted last month in Vegas and was a huge hit at UMF in Miami. With most DJ's now looking to add abit of dubstep to their mixes, Tiesto hasn't and this song has elements of his old style to it. I love it, hope you do too!
