Hollywoodbets Durban July 2022

After two years of South Africa's most prestigious horse racing event being held behind closed doors due to the Covid Pandemic, the Durban July is back and open to the public taking place on Saturday, 2nd July 2022! With a new sponsor in Hollywoodbets, this years event is looking to catapult its status as the most attended horse racing meet on the African continent. As always, the Hollywoodbets Durban July will be a showcase for fashion, beauty, tourism and not forgetting the parties in the multiple marquee's on offer. The two most noteworthy being BOOMTOWN Presented by Heineken and The Glenlevit Jazztown. 

BOOMTOWN Presented by Heineken

BOOMTOWN has been synonymous with the Durban July as the biggest and best marquee to be at, with the best in hospitality, world class stage and lighting supported by the some of the countries top musical artists. This year see's it back for it's 12th year at the races, and aims to change the game, presented by Heineken, they are raising the bar to bring you an unforgettable Hollywoodbests Durban July experience with exciting new experiential attractions, bars, an array of hospitality areas and the who's who of the Hollywoodbets Durban July. The Glenlivet Jazztown

If you're wanted to attend the Hollywoodbets Durban July but looking for something a bit more mellow and chilled but still maintain that 5-star hospitality experience, look no further than The Glenlevit Jazztown. Amstel Boomtown 2018

When it comes to the Durban July, it's all about which marquee you're at, it's got have the vibe, the performers, the bars, the atmosphere that encompasses the event and there is only one marquee that's worth mentioning, and it's the Boomtown marquee! In what will be it's 10th year running this year, organizers are pulling out all the stops to ensure this years Boomtown is the biggest and best so far. While title sponsors may have changed over the years, the ethos of Boomtown still remains the same, giving the people whom attend an experience encompassing the ultimate in hospitality, luxury, decadence and vibe.

Mo Magic: Moments of Wonder

Durban's very own Magician extraordinaire is back to mesmerize and mystify local audiences and leave them spell bound in a new show featuring brand new acts. Fresh from his recent trip to Las Vegas and Hollywood, Mo Magic ready to take audiences through his world class magic, mystifying mentalism, incredible illusions and family friendly comedy in a 90 minute interactive performance themed "Moments of Wonder", all taking place at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from the 9th to the 12th of March. Themed around the concept of wonder, he points out that we as human experience "wonder" on a daily basis in different forms, e.g. whilst watching movies, listening to music, spending time with loved ones and whilst watching the sun rise or set. he takes a number of these scenarios and creates magic with them, putting his own spin on them, and shares these moments of wonder with the audience. The magician does not want to give too much away and would rather the audience experience the magic for themselves in his latest theatre production. 

"Moments of Wonder" will run from the 9-12 March 2017 at the Elizabeth Sneddon theatre (UKZN campus), the moves to the Hexagon theatre in Pietermaritzburg (UKZN) from the 30 March - 1 April. Mo's previous theatre productions ("Amazing You!" in 2012 and "Mo Magic" in 2016) were sell out successes and ticket s for this run of "Moments of Wonder" are limited.
