Gateway's Vodacom Durban July Preview Fashion Show 2019

If there was one event I could honestly say I look forward to every year, it would definitely be the Gateway Vodacom Durban July Preview Fashion Show. Every year Gateway pulls out all the stops to make it bigger and better than the year before. This years event will feature 10 Young Designer Award student finalists, together with the Vodacom Durban July invited Designers, in a dazzling showcase highlighting the event theme, 'Stars of Africa'. Plus a special collection entitled 'Amazing Africa' will also be exhibited. This is an event that is surely not to be missed and if you think the fashion show is great, wait till you see what the after party has in store!

Tickets for the event are on sale now via Webtickets, at R650 a ticket which includes access to the Preview Fashion show, VIP Area, Live performances by South African artists, snacks and limited open bar.

2016 Victoria Secrets Paris Fashion Show - BTS

One of the highlights to the end of the year, besides the holidays is of course the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show. It's one of the big ones for fashion with the world's top models strutting their stuff on the catwalk in some of the most glamorous lingerie and swimwear offered by the premium woman's designer. Their star studded line up of selected international models dubbed "angels" are one of the highlights of the show, others include invited guests and singers who participate in the event which truly makes it a spectacle. The show is mostly invite only but there are premium VIP tickets that go on sale but they fetch quite a pretty penny with someone being sold for as much as $17,500 last year! There is also an official after party which you can attend, those tickets start off at about  $6,500.... yeah I'll wait for the videos in Instagram. Anyway, since none of us could afford to go to the show, most of us are eagerly waiting that video but we got some behind the scenes pictures courtesy of Vogue Magazine that we thought you may like.
