Following our post last week on confirmation of the 5th anniversary of Ultra South Africa. This week we bring you the pricing and tier structure of tickets to next years event. Please note of the amazing early bird specials are limited so register now to gain access to these!

Ultra Miami Memoirs

Ultra Miami 2018 tickets are now on sale, it will be the 20th anniversary of the world's biggest dance music festival and it will be taking place from the 23rd till the 25th of March 2018. The popular dance music festival has grown in leaps and bounds of the 20 years and coincides with the Miami Music Week which originally started off as Miami Winter Music Conference which saw DJ's and Producers from around the world descend on the tropical US City. It turned the place into a party capital of the world for that week and so on it went. People who have pre-registered can buy Tier 1 and Tier 2 GA tickets but last I saw, Tier 1 has already been sold out so act fast to get Tier 2 before they get snapped up too!

To find out what went on at this years Festival, watch the memoirs clip which was released on Monday to give you a good idea on what you're missing out on. UMF Miami is still my ultimate music festival and even though I have not attended one year I try to watch most of the live streams or listen to the sets after it has been completed, maybe one day I can be there to witness the madness for myself.

Ultra South Africa 2016: After Movie

On Monday, Ultra South Africa revealed the much anticipated 2016 After Movie, sharing with us the memories and highlights of this years mind blowing event. It also celebrated the launch of the Early Bird ticket sales for next years event. So if you haven't already registered and purchased your tickets as yet, what are you waiting for? Check our last weeks post for all the information regarding ticket sales and how to get them. Ultra South Africa 2017

Just 5 months after we were wowed by an amazing two day spectacular that was Ultra South Africa 2016, organizers of SA's largest electronic dance music event have announced that Ultra South Africa will be back in 2017! Unlike this years event, next year will see it revert back to the one day in each city, in my opinion it is better seeing that many suffered from burnout after the first day but not only that, in terms of logistics and costs, to squeeze in so much in 3 days, in two cities must have been a nightmare but never the less they got it done.

There are some changes to next years event though, the venue of the Cape Town leg has moved to the iconic Cape Town Stadium. The venue is a fantastic choice by the organisers, it makes sense as it's closer to the CBD with ample of parking and safety. The stadium is no stranger from hosting large events, from the FIFA World Cup to major concerts over the years, so it's more than capable of handling the crowds. Another interesting point to note is the concave glass roof of the stadium, it's designed in such a way to amplify the sound and give the crowds the best possible acoustics . So people attending the Cape Town event, be prepared to be blown away!

Johannesburg's venue remains the same for the 4th year running, the Nasrec Expo Center is almost like the home of Ultra South Africa. It has the largest crowd out of the two and it really is like nothing you've experienced before, I've been there for all 3 years so far so I speak first hand at how incredible it is. Ultra will be going out in full force again next year to bring you the best sound, lighting, pyrotechnics and of course, the world's best DJ's! Pre-registration and Early Bird ticket sales have already begun, so if you've already managed to get your hand on some of those tickets, well done! For the others, you still can register and buy them online now!
