Monday Choon: Dom Dolla, Solomun, Skepta - DANGER DANGER

Some tracks are released with hype, while others are practically demanded by the crowd before they even exist, and Dom Dolla, Solomun and Skepta’s “DANGER DANGER” is exactly that kind of track. After being teased and road-tested for months, the hype reached another level during Dom Dolla’s huge Melbourne show, with fans already knowing the track before its official release. Monday Choon: AVNT - Echo

Another track we’re featuring from the brilliant Anjunabeats Volume 17 is “Echo” by AVNT, an artist bringing a fresh and exciting energy to the Anjunabeats sound. The track blends progressive and melodic elements with an uplifting, atmospheric feel, creating something that feels familiar to fans of the genre while still offering its own identity. Monday Choon: Ronski Speed - Nuru Mpya

 

Today's featured track was debuted at Anjunabeats Volume 17 live set about a month ago and I've been itching for it to be released since! German DJ Ronski Speed who has been on the trance music seen since 1997 has knocked this one out the park, Nuru Mpya is probably for me, one of the best songs to be created in 2026. The levels, the beats, the build up and the drops and how they all sync with the vocals is just electrifying and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I heard it for the first. He official released the track last week Wednesday and I've been listening to it nonstop since. 

Monday Choon: Darren Tate - A Child Of The Times

 

British producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Darren Tate returns to Anjunabeats with his latest single, A Child Of The Times, following its debut on Anjunabeats Volume 25. Known for a career spanning multiple successful aliases, twelve UK Top 40 singles and over 20 film scores, Tate continues to push the boundaries of trance music. The track carries a powerful message of optimism for future generations, inspired by trance music's ability to unite and uplift listeners. Featuring vocal elements influenced by African and Eastern spiritual chants, Tate explains that the song is designed to create a shared sense of connection, positivity and emotional release. Monday Choon: Tiësto - Don't Lose Your Head feat Olivia Sebastianelli

 

When Tiesto said he was heading back to his trance roots, many felt that it would be short lived or diluted with modern sounds and he would never really go back to his roots. Well, those same people are left eating their words as he dropped his latest track last week featuring Olivia Sebastianelli on vocals and it's yet another trance bomb. He first previewed the track during his live set at EDC Las Vegas last month and it was a crowd pleaser of note, last week he released the track and it's been doing great on the streams and solidifies his commitment to the trance culture. 

Monday Choon: Above & Beyond and Malou - Letting Go (Rinzen Remix)

Originally released in July, ‘Letting Go' was the first collaboration between Above & Beyond and German-Hawaiian singer-songwriter Malou, whose introspective, soulful vocals have helped define a new generation of emotive electronic music, having previously collaborated with Ben Böhmer and Nils Hoffmann on ‘Breathing. Rinzen, the cinematic techno innovator from Los Angeles, offers a moody, spacious remix that builds a slow-burning energy while preserving the track's emotional core. “It’s honestly a surreal feeling to remix Above & Beyond,” says Rinzen. “I’ve been listening to their music for 15 years. I absolutely love everything Malou does as well, so it’s a big honor to put my spin on ‘Letting Go.’

Monday Choon: Swedish House Mafia - Wait So Long

 

The Swedish trio are back and after some epic performances across Europe of the Summer festival period, none more epic than their set at Tomorrowland. The latest offering from them which has featured on their set lists as this one "Wait So Long" even though was released in June has still been doing incredibly well across the globe. It's definitely a certified banger and one we will be hearing more frequently. 

Monday Choon: Simon Gregory - For You

 

Trance producer , DJ and one half of the Digital Drift Duo, Simon Gregory has teamed up with Mondo Records to release his track "ForYou". The track is the first release in the their Mondo 25 years series. Simon says "For You" is a love letter to the golden era of progressive trance and the song is just that with blending soaring melodic breaks and powerful big room pulses all which tie in beautifully with the calming vocals. Simon says "This is Trance 2.0 re imagined for 2025, turn it up and feel the rush!"

Monday Choon: Arty - Lost In Loving You (Mattilo Remix)

Russian Trance Music DJ and Producer Arty is no stranger to the blog, with countless number of his previous hits having featured, this time its a remix of one his tracks "Lost In Loving You". Written during an inspiring studio session in the heart of London, ‘Lost In Loving You’ sees ARTY connect his signature sonics to the equally irresistible vocal allure of Louis III. Upbeat, rousing and channeling ARTY’s trademark progressive house sound, and now it's been revved up a notch by Mattilo. After being dropped by Universal Music when he was just 16, Mattilo found new rise to fame via the social media app, Tik Tok. His work on remixing this track speaks for itself and lets hope he continues with this upward trend.

It feels like dance music fans have waited an eternity for this one, Armin first dropped this one at Ultra Miami back in March. Since then, both him and Hardwell have been dropping it in their sets all over the world but kept us waiting for the official release. Well, last week Friday they finally released it and it was worth it. Following their 2015 collaboration 'Off the Hook', which became a global hit with over 100 million streams, the two superstars fuse their respective styles once again, blending Armin's signature euphoric trance melodies with Hardwell's cutting-edge big-room techno to deliver a powerful festival anthem that will undeniably thrill fans. Already a popular track in both artists' sets throughout 2024, the legendary pair teased the collaboration earlier this year during a special back-to-back set at A State of Trance Rotterdam, sparking a frenzy of excitement from fans both at the event and online.

Progressive house duo Avenue One join forces with celebrated songwriter and vocalist Jaren on ‘My Way Home’. Originating from Canada and the Czech Republic, Avenue One is the brainchild of Matt Cerf and Petr Leško; two producers that united through a shared love for music and their deep-seated connections in the electronic scene.Matt and talented vocalist Jaren previously released trance staple ‘Man On The Run’ with Dash Berlin in 2009, under their earlier group alias Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren; a widely renowned track with millions of streams to date. Matt and Petr first joined forces in 2012. They made their Anjunabeats debut in 2022 on our Rising EP series with ‘Upstairs Terrace’, which featured in the Anjunabeats Volume 16 compilation, before releasing their debut album ‘Outside My Door’ later that year. Following on from Avenue One's recent single ‘Days & Nights’, which has amassed over 250K streams and gained support from Grigoré, Paul Oakenfold, Giuseppe Ottaviani and more, ‘My Way Home’ is a progressive anthem with a hard-hitting bassline and mesmerising vocals.

South African record producer and DJ, Nate better known by his stage name Protoculture is no stranger to the world of trance having been producing chart toppers for the better part of the last 10 years. Having been signed on to some of the biggest record labels in the EDM world he continues to produce progressive and uplifting beats that the world loves. He recently dropped his latest single "In Bloom" on his very own label, Marula Music, which is best described as vibrant melodies unfurl and rhythms blossom with lush soundscapes in this latest dance floor odyssey. It's been featured on the biggest trance podcasts from ABGT to ASOT and it's really inspiring to see a local artist getting the recognition they truly deserve on the global stage. 

Monday Choon: OceanLab - Satellite (Above & Beyond's 2023 Progressive Mix)

 

Above and Beyond's OceanLab which included the trio and Justine Suissa was formed in the year 2000 and produced some of trances most timeless tracks that still spark emotion when played today. To celebrate the legacy of this, the trio have recently released "The Anothology" album which is available to purchase on vinyl from their website, it features all their tracks masterfully remixed by some of their closest friends in the industry. For me, personally a stand out favourite from OceanLab is Satellite and it would be a crime if I didn't feature this track, remixed by the trio of Jono, Pavo and Tony in a progressive style production that keep the tracks soul intact but elevating it to the modern era of trance. It still hits all the right notes and gives me butterflies when I hear it. The entire album is fantastic and if I had $185 dollars plus postage to purchase, it would be in the mail already but for now its added to my Christmas wish list. 

Monday Choon: Sultan + Shepard & Le Youth - Making Time x Cycles with Julia Church

We have a mash up of, "Making Time x Cycles" as today's featured track from Sultan and Shepard, the Canadian Electronic music took American DJ Le Youth and South African singer Julia Church to produce this melodic master piece. Julia who now resides in the UK has worked with many artists in the industry including well known local artist Goldfish so its amazing to see her lend her vocals to some of the industries global super stars. The track itself is a progressive house number which border lines trance and has a steady beat and baseline with great build ups and to add that extra something is Julia's vocals. It's a great mellow way to kick off the week so hope you enjoy. 

Monday Choon: Ørjan Nilsen - Touching You

 

The Norwegian Viking DJ is back with another high energy track. Orjan Nilsen celebrates his 200th release on his record label, "In My Opinion" with our featured track of the week. The song has vocals by Adara and true to Orjan style has a high pace trance beat with deep bass line that just powers through the track from start to end. The vocals add that melodic edge that is needed to bring that calming effect to the track but it still has a cracking drop to it. It's fresh new music that is bound to get the heads bobbing, so turn up the volume and enjoy.

Monday Choon: Above & Beyond - Angry JP8

UK based trance trio Above & Beyond recently released their latest EP, "Tranquility Base Vol.1" which contains 5 heavy hitting dance floor anthems. It's a hark back to their roots which is heavy hitting electronic and instrument based trance tracks. We featured the first single from the EP on the blog today titled "Angry JP8", its an electro edged track that has a chorus type back ground vocal which catapults the songs intensity as it goes on. It's one for the original A&B listeners who enjoyed their club-centric trance music and as a fan of it, I cannot wait to see if there is more of these types of EP's planned for the future.
