Monday Choon: Myon feat. Alissa Feudo - Perfect Ghost (Myon Club Mix)

The guys down at Anjunabeats were not joking when they said there's a lot that is cooking in the Anjuna kitchen as week after week they're releasing some cracking music. Last week we had Ilan Bluestone with his new one, this week we bring you a track that's been on our track list for some time now. You will fall in love with this song as soon as you hear it, as did we when Above & Beyond played it at ABGT300 in Hong Kong. It's a colab that is becoming to be one that should happen more often if they produce tracks of this quality, Myon teams up with Alissa Feudo who in my opinion has the best voice for trance music. Her voice is chilling and will have the hairs on the back of your neck standing, Omen in the Rain was the first time we heard these two produce something and if the success of that track is anything, today's featured track "Perfect Ghost" will do even better. It's really one of those tracks you can listen to over and over and not get tired off.

Monday Choon: Above & Beyond - Distorted Truth

With just 2 weeks to go till Ultra South Africa 2019, we bring you our artist feature on the Monday Choon. There's no denying Above & Beyond's cult status in the electronic music world, their hit track Sun & Moon still makes the hair on the back of many necks stand every time it plays. Their weekly podcast ABGT has hundreds of thousands of streams and their sellout shows just go to prove what a phenom they are and why we are so so lucky to see them in SA, performing at our premier music festival. Today's track Distorted Truth was released last week but was first played by them at their ABGT300 show in Hong Kong last year. It's a bit more up tempo than their previous track release Flying by Candle Light but has just the right beat to get you excited for their set. The track has all the key Above & Beyond elements, the beats, the build up and uplifting tempo's. It's simply brilliant in our books and will be a firm favourite for you too.

Monday Choon: ilan Bluestone & Maor Levi feat. EL Waves - Will We Remain?

Ilan Bluestone is no stranger to those who frequently listen to ABGT or fans of the Anjunabeats label. The British DJ has been igniting the dance scene across the world with his unique tracks consisting of that 'progressive' sound he builds on today. In April this year he dropped a number of new singles from his debut album Scars. Most of which have been featured in many an episode of ABGT and in various DJ sets including his own at ABGT300 in Hong Kong. Today on the blog, I have one track that I particularly enjoyed, probably because of the strong vocal presence but overall a great balanced track, this is Ilan Bluestone with Maor Levi featuring El Waves, Will We Remain?

Monday Choon: Andrew Bayer feat. Alison May - Immortal Lover (In My Last Life Mix)

After the successful ABGT300 by Above & Beyond which took place in Hong Kong 2 weeks back, I had the chance to go through some of the sets from that show. Above & Beyond's was nothing short of great as per the norm and which is why they have sellout performances wherever they go, also they were announced last week at ADE by Armin van Buuren to be performing at ASOT900 in the Netherlands. Back to ABGT300, another artist I quite enjoy from these shows is Andrew Bayer, his style is similar to that of the trio at A&B, underlying deep bass tones, with ghostly vocals and great tempo. This particular song grabbed me from his set, featuring the vocals of Alison May it really all merges well together in an epic production.
