Monday Choon: Virtual Self - Ghosts

Most of the country is pretty raved out after Ultra South Africa, it was one heck of a jol and the headliners did not disappoint. But the party still goes on online and today's featured track is from a familiar name in trance music, Porter Robinson who is most famous for his hit track language. Well the electro DJ and Producer of North Carolina released some tracks on his alias name Virtual Self and one of them caught my attention, it has an old school rave sound to it, great melody and baseline, the vocals just add that extra which gets the hair on the back of your neck stand up and just the perfect song to get your reminiscing the weekend shenanigans. 

Monday Choon: Porter Robinson feat. Urban Cone - Lionhearted (Arty Remix)

American electronic music producer, Porter Robinson broke into the international arena with this hit track "language" back in 2012, from there he's enjoyed a good stay on the top with collaborations with MatZo and many other artists, most notably he co-wrote Zedd's hit song "Clarity". His latest release, Lionhearted featuring the vocals of Swedish Indie pop band, Urban Cone and sticking to the multinational theme to the track, Russia's Arty came in to make this explosive remix of the track which has enjoyed phenomenal success. Relatively unknown, Porter Robinson of the USA is a 20 year old Electro house DJ. Starting mixing at the age of 13 and now signed to the same label as Skrillex, "Language" is his first hit track. Having being featured on beatport top 100 electro house charts as well as getting plenty airplay on many of the EDM stations this one is sure a hit.
