Monday Choon: Super8 & Tab feat. Julie Thompson - Let Go

The Finnish duo of Miika Eloranta and Janne Mansnerus better known as Super8 & Tab have recently released their second album, Unified. Signed onto record label Anjunabeats records and made popular by Amarda Music, in partuclar Armin Van Buuren on his A State Of Trance show, they've also toured with the ASOT live shows around the world. One of the songs featured on their new album is Let Go that has the vocals of Julie Thompson and is todays featued track.

                   

Monday Choon: Audien & Matthew Koma - Serotonin

Audien, not the most popular name in the EDM world but the American DJ has been doing his thing and wowing crowds with his mellow and uplifting beats for a good few years now. Signed onto Armin van Buuren's Amarda label, his played at the ASOT events and has worked with many other DJ's on the label, most notably Arty where he remixed his track "together we are", and his remix of Ummet Ozcan's and Nervo's track was featured a few weeks back. Today he's joined by the guy who's vocals could be found on most electronic dance songs today, Matthew Koma. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren ft.Fiora vs Chris Schweizer - Waiting for the reflections (AvB Mashup)

Mashup's are becoming more and more popular in the EDM scene and we've heard quite a few of them this year and there were some damn good ones featured on the blog. Today we've found another one, mixed by the world number DJ himself, Armin van Buuren. Before his set at Tomorrowland, he announced to the crowd that he had just become a father, it was the inspiration for his set and I might I add it was one of the best sets I've heard from the man. This song was featured during it and I just loved it!

Monday Choon: W&W - Lift off

If you follow me on twitter you would already know my love for what Willem and Wardt do. The boys from Netherlands bring such a different energy to EDM, something so different to the usual uplifting beats that we're normally used to. Its pretty evident that many love it as well, their tours have been sell outs and they're by far one of the biggest artists on Armada's list now. Lift off was released in Feb and was their opening track for all their sets in ASOT600, the reception they received in Mexico says it all.

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren ft Trevor Guthrie - This is what is feels like.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this new track by Armin, I don't love it but I don't hate it. Its one of those inbetweeners that will probably grow on you. I first heard it when he played it at the ASOT600 set in Miami where Trevor was their on stage to provide vocals, didn't think it deserved all the hype it got but then again this is the worlds number one DJ. The video is another strange one, for starters it has Ron Jeremy in it, the chick in it isn't bad though. Here's the song and video, let me know what you think.

Monday Choon: Umet Ozcan - Here & Now

Back Feburary Ummet Ozcan teamed up with dutch DJ duo W&W to bring us "The Code", now the Turkish DJ and W&W teamed up again to bring us this Here & Now. Its one of my favourite tracks at the moment and has already been well recieved in ASOT600

Monday Choon: Zedd ft Foxes - Clarity (W and W Remix)

Its not often you hear a song and it sends you into a pure sense of ecstasy, this song does that for me. Its one of those when you hear it for the first time, you either love it or hate it. The original track from Zedd is not bad but was a bit slow from my liking, Tiesto did a remix and a few other DJ's as well but W&W's remix is just on another level. The production and build ups are just amazing, one really has to appreciate what they've done to the track. It was played at ASOT600 in Mexico and the crowd went wild for it.
