Monday Choon: Audien ft Xira - One Last Dance (Farius Remix)

American DJ Nate Rathbun better known as Audien has been a popular name on the Above and Beyond sets as well as Armada tracklists, his music is the kind of uplifting trance you love to hear first thing in the morning as it ignites that energy deep within, in Feb this year he released his track "One Last Dance" which features the vocals of Xira, a bit of a soppy love song type of track but a banger none the less, last week a host of remixes for the track were released and one of my favourites was by UK based DJ Farius. It's a great edit of the original track and just added that extra oomf that was missing. It gives the track a nice tempo which was lacking from the original and can almost make it a club track. I think its brilliant and you should have a listen to it, so turn up the volume and enjoy.

Monday Choon: Michael Jackson – Slave to The Rhythm (Audien Remix)

When it comes to mind blowing performers such as Queen and Michael Jackson, I prefer their work remained unaltered. They were so good that what ever music they did make, needed no outside influence to enhance it, they were that good. It's been a good few years since the passing of the greatest pop icon of all time and this year saw his record label release some unreleased material, one of the songs being Slave To The Rhythm. It's a pretty catchy song but it did lack something, that something Audien brought along in his remix of the track. When you listen to the song you'll get what I mean.

Monday Choon: Audien & Matthew Koma - Serotonin

Audien, not the most popular name in the EDM world but the American DJ has been doing his thing and wowing crowds with his mellow and uplifting beats for a good few years now. Signed onto Armin van Buuren's Amarda label, his played at the ASOT events and has worked with many other DJ's on the label, most notably Arty where he remixed his track "together we are", and his remix of Ummet Ozcan's and Nervo's track was featured a few weeks back. Today he's joined by the guy who's vocals could be found on most electronic dance songs today, Matthew Koma. 

Monday Choon: R3hab & NERVO & Ummet Ozcan - Revolution (Audien Remix)

What do you get when you combine 3 of the freshest new talent in EDM and put them on one track? You get an instant hit, thats what you get. I saw R3hab last year in Cape Town and the guy is an unbelievable talent, the Nervo twins of Australia have earned them selves massive cred by working with some of the top names in the business and Ummet Ozcan needs no introduction with his abilities displayed at Armin van Buurens ASOT parties. Their song revolution is proving to be quite popular on beatport but another DJ, Audien most popular from Amarda Beats records has put a new twist to the song, perfect to get the week going.
