Monday Choon: Farius - Miami Love

 

Following up on previous single 'Be Somebody' which saw support on ABGT, a stellar remix of Dezza's 'Cold Outside' and an outstanding performance at United In Prog at ADE 2019, Farius maintains strong momentum in 2019 with new single 'Miami Love'. Hard-hitting and immaculately produced, 'Miami Love' sees the British producer further hone his sound, using vocal snippets and an upbeat chord progression to create a hands-in-the-air banger. 

Monday Choon: Kudus & Farius - Select Player Mode

 

Nothing beats a good collaboration, especially when its with two DJ's that have such unique sounds and talents, this week see's Dutch based DJ Kudus partner with British DJ Farius for their recently released track "Select Player Mode". The track is a great feeling good one which nostalgic heavy synths, spacey drums and pulsating bass that together just sounds so euphoric and almost reminiscent to something you would hear in an 80's video game but with obviously a bit more vibe. The track has been received well in the last few week, its a track that I've enjoyed quite a bit myself, hence its making a feature today. 

Monday Choon: Audien ft Xira - One Last Dance (Farius Remix)

American DJ Nate Rathbun better known as Audien has been a popular name on the Above and Beyond sets as well as Armada tracklists, his music is the kind of uplifting trance you love to hear first thing in the morning as it ignites that energy deep within, in Feb this year he released his track "One Last Dance" which features the vocals of Xira, a bit of a soppy love song type of track but a banger none the less, last week a host of remixes for the track were released and one of my favourites was by UK based DJ Farius. It's a great edit of the original track and just added that extra oomf that was missing. It gives the track a nice tempo which was lacking from the original and can almost make it a club track. I think its brilliant and you should have a listen to it, so turn up the volume and enjoy.

Monday Choon: Farius - Wait

The progressive trance world is getting into gear with new releases flying out the studios, we have another one from Enhanced and this time from UK based DJ Farius. Wait is his latest track and it continues his form from 2020 which saw him release his debut album "From The Start". The track packs a punch with bold, boisterous bass, airy synth pads and transcendent melodies, all bound together with the signature exhilarating production which really sets Farius apart from others. 

Monday Choon: Farius - Forever (Myon Summer Of Love Mix)

 

Farius released his track "Forever" about 5 months back and since then its been getting a decent amount of airplay but recently, Myon released his Summer of Love Mix version of the track and for me, personally has elevated the track as a whole into another dimension, making it sound even better. Then again, anything from Myon to me is good as gold but it's been a while since I've heard a remix from him. The track has a faster BPM than the original, giving it a much more summer feel and beat to it, strange seeing that Europe is heading into winter but us down in the Southern Hemisphere will take it gladly. It's a great track that gets you in the mood, whether at a party or just chilling, so turn up the volume and enjoy. 

Monday Choon: Farius - Steadfast

London based DJ and Producer Farius has dropped his latest album last month, From the Start and with it brought some great tracks. Our featured track for today is taken from that album, the track Steadfast has been give decent air play over the past month or so by many legends in the industry, from the likes of Amrin, A&B, Markus Schulz and Paul van Dyk to name a few. It surely will spur the talented Progressive Dance DJ on to produce more music in the future and hopefully they are as great as this.
