Monday Choon: NERVO, Tube & Berger - Lights Down Low

 

The NERVO twins are back and this time they've joined forces with German based duo Tube and Berger for their latest offering "Lights Down Low". The song which was released last week has already been hitting the charts with a bang, the track is a really hype up kind of feel with a classic 80s disco beat. The sexy house track has a lot of retro elements to the track from the bassline to the syths which gives it that nostalgic feel to it. The up-tempo beat keeps things groovy throughout the track with the vocals just elevating that classic sound. It's definitely a track that will get hopes up on this blue Monday so turn up the volume and enjoy!

Monday Choon: NERVO x Firebeatz - Illusion (feat. Karra)

The NERVO sisters have been a firm favourite for many over the years, the Aussie twins have been core to many of the European Festivals and producing some sick beats. They're back with another fire track and this time teamed up with Firebeatz as well as US based EDM vocalist Karra. Titled Illusion, the song has many familiar beats and drops but mixed to perfection. It's definitely one of the bigger tracks to be released of recent and bound to be a popular one. Monday Choon: Michael Woods feat. Lauren Dyson - In Your Arms (Ilan Bluestone Remix)

The music industry has had their fair share of successful siblings, in EDM we have the likes of the NERVO twins and most recently Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike but they're duo's whom work together. When you get siblings competing you often find one living off the others glory but thats not the case with English DJ/ Producer Michael Woods, while he and his sister Marcella Woods both are in EDM their success are partial to their own hard work. Today's track is by Michael and features the vocals of Lauren Dyson, the original which was released on Spinnin' Records has been doing well but the remix by Ilan Bluestone takes it up a notch or two.

R3HAB & NERVO - Ready For The Weekend ft. Ayah Marar

Following the success from their collaboration on the track Revolution, R3hab and Nervo have teamed up to produce what seems like another chart topper. The Australian sisters and Algerian/ Dutch DJ have featured the vocals of Ayah Marar on this track. I know its Monday but the song is titled "Ready For The Weekend" so its kind of a contradiction but still and epic track that we couldn't help but feature, also look at it this way, it will get you amped for the week ahead to party on the weekend!

Monday Choon: R3hab & NERVO & Ummet Ozcan - Revolution (Audien Remix)

What do you get when you combine 3 of the freshest new talent in EDM and put them on one track? You get an instant hit, thats what you get. I saw R3hab last year in Cape Town and the guy is an unbelievable talent, the Nervo twins of Australia have earned them selves massive cred by working with some of the top names in the business and Ummet Ozcan needs no introduction with his abilities displayed at Armin van Buurens ASOT parties. Their song revolution is proving to be quite popular on beatport but another DJ, Audien most popular from Amarda Beats records has put a new twist to the song, perfect to get the week going. 

Monday Choon: R3hab & Ummet Ozcan & Nervo – Revolution

This track is quite a colab with R3hab of Morrocan descent, Ummet Ozcan of Turkish descent and the Nervo twins of Australia combining their talents to produce this mammoth track. It's received great comments from many DJ's who frequently feature it in their latest sets and having seen R3hab last week in Cape Town, this song is still stuck in my head since then. It's only appropriate that I share it with you lot. Enjoy!

Monday Choon: Nicky Romero feat. Nervo - Like home

Nicky Romero is fast becoming a favourite of many dance music fans, his set at this years Ultra Music Festival was not short of amazing. For this track he has teamed up with the Nervo twins from Australia, the blonde bombshells are most noted for their 2011 track "the way we see the world" which was co-performed with Afrojack and was the anthem for Tomorrowland that year. This song is quite catchy and you'll find yourself putting it on repeat on your media player.

This years Tomorrowland festival in Belgium was rated as one of the best yet but going back a year now to Tomorrowland 2011 with this weeks track. It hasnt been given the recognition it deserves I feel so I'm resurecting it. A 4 way colab between Afrojack, Dimitru Vegas, Like Mike and Nevo "The way we see the world" was chosen as the anthem for last years event.
