Monday Choon: ManyFew - Get Close

They're blood brothers by relation but also best friends, Jacob and Victor Andersson of Sweden, better known by their stage nae "ManyFew" say they're on a mission to deliver feel-good and dance ready creations to the world. Well guys, we have no problems with that mission and will support you 100% should they all be like today's featured track, "Get Close". The track was released this weekend on Spinnin Records and it is a cracker, it's a mixture of uplifting blend of house and disco which integrates well to the dance music scene. The Swedish duo have been featured on a number of big name artist podcasts as well as played under the Ministry of Sound label, so they've got some experience under the belt and if the beats keep dropping like this one, it will be under big name Swedish dance music name to lookout for in the future. 

Monday Choon: NERVO x Firebeatz - Illusion (feat. Karra)

The NERVO sisters have been a firm favourite for many over the years, the Aussie twins have been core to many of the European Festivals and producing some sick beats. They're back with another fire track and this time teamed up with Firebeatz as well as US based EDM vocalist Karra. Titled Illusion, the song has many familiar beats and drops but mixed to perfection. It's definitely one of the bigger tracks to be released of recent and bound to be a popular one. Monday Choon: Sam Feldt & Deepend ft. Teemu - Runaways (Jay Hardway Remix)

Sammy Renders, better known by his stage name "Sam Felft" is due to be in our country in the coming weeks as one of the international headliners for this years Corona SunSets Festival in Cape Town. The Dutch Deep House DJ is becoming quite a well known name in the industry of late with him playing at most of the popular festivals and recently at the Amsterdam Dance Event. His latest single in which he teams up with Deepend and Teemu recently got the Jay Hardway remix treatment and is one of the featured remixes for the single. It gives the song great vibe and tempo and in true Jay Hardway style making it unique, 

Monday Choons: Far East Movement x Marshmello - Freal Luv ft. Chanyeol & Tinashe

We all remember the Far East Movement, their cult hit Like a G6 became an anthem for many things but did you know that was released 6 years ago? Yup, how's that for knowing that time flies! Well since then they have released a number songs but none with the same popularity as Like a G6. This time round they partened with that odd DJ that no one knows who the hell is. When he first got onto the scene I honeslty thought he was just there to poke fun at Deadmau5 but he is a legit DJ, who am I talking about? None other than Marshmello. He recently killed it at Sun Burn Festival in Mumbai sending the crowds into raptures by dropping some Bollywood tracks during his set. Freal Luv is the collaboration between Far East Movment and Marshmello, it also features Chanyeol and Tinashe. 

Monday Choon: Sander van Doorn x Fred Pellichero - The Snake 2016

Some times you just need some hard bass and that's what this weeks featured track is all about. Dutch  progressive house legend Sander van Doorn is back with "The Snake 2016" a reword of the 2006 track by Fred Pellichero and it is a banger of note. It was one of the featured tracks on the Ultra Miami Aftermovie and a firm favourite to many who enjoy the progressive scene. The two just rocked the Amsterdam Dance Event this past weekend and should be hitting the road on other tours soon but for now lets enjoy the song.

Monday Choon: KSHMR & Tigerlily - Invisible Children

The first time I heard about today's featured artist was when he teamed up with Tiesto and Vassy to produce the track "Secrets" which did incredibly well. There after I never really researched him or his music, but he kept popping up in various collaborations, one of which I quite took a liking to was his track with Shaun Frank featuring Delany Jane titled "Heaven".  It was then I took notice of his sets at the various festivals and loved how he infused classic Indian music with electronic music. I've heard the likes of R3hab doing it but his take on it is near perfect. Niles Hollowell-Dhar, better known by his stage name KSHMR is who I've been talking about if you haven't gathered, he's an American DJ, producer and is from Berkeley, California. If you haven't heard of him yet, you will do quite soon!

Monday Choon: Jerome Price - Me Minus You ( CID Remix)

Jerome Price is slowly making a name for himself in the music world, the British based producer is enjoying the attention his debut single "Me Minus You" is recieving internationally and many are calling it the "song of summer". His music style fuses deep house with an upbeat tempo electro sound and it really is catchy. The official music video to the single was shot in LA and featured YouTube dancing starts, Dytto and RainO who rose to fame with thier unique dance style which they call "two finger tutter freestyle" which TV talk show host Ellen stumbled upon and invited them onto her show. Today we feature the CID Remix of the song, which once you listen to will understand what an awesome job they did in remixing this already great track. 

                      

Monday Choon: Tiesto ft. John Legend - Summer Nights

It's no secret that I am a big fan of Tiesto, besides his legendary status, I do enjoy the music he produces and he exerts a certain energy that I relate to and enjoy tremendously. In the same breathe, I can tell you I'm a massive fan of John Legend, he's really one of the stand out R&B stars of late and his voice reminds you of that old school sound but with such a great flow that it sends you into a state of calm. With two such talented individuals teaming up, you know the end result is going to be great, this is the first time the two have collaborated in produces a track, but it's not the first time they've worked together as Tiesto's Remix of John's "All of me" was the best selling remix of the track. Summer Night's is just as epic and is bound to be another chart topper and judging by the reaction it got after EDC Las Vegas where John came onto stage during Tiesto's set to sing, it's heading there fast.

                     

Monday Choon: MOTi - Turn Me Up Feat. Nabiha (VIP Mix)

MOTi is fast becoming one of the rising stars in Tiesto's Musical Freedom label, his latest offering bares testament to that. Turn Me Up in the VIP Mix has been occupying the top 3 spot in Beatport charts for the past few weeks and looks like it will be staying there for a while with the rave reviews it's been getting. For those that attended Ultra South Africa a few weeks ago, Tiesto dropped this one during his extended set in Johannesburg and Cape Town. It is a banger of note and a frequently played song on my playlist. It features the vocals of Nabiha which give's it that mellow but soulful style, so listen to the lady and turn it up and enjoy!
