Monday Choon: Steve Brian & Tabasco Bob - Time & Time

First things first, I've never heard of these guys before I'm my life but with a name like Tabasco he's sure to be hot right? Anyway these two are from Germany and true to German trance they find the selves under German legend duo Cosmic Gates, Wake You Mind records. The somg Time and Time was festured I'm all of Cosmic Gates sets during ASOT700 and they played a different mix to the original, which I have featured today. It's quite catchy and gets the heart beat rising. 

Monday Choon: Andrew Bayer feat. Asbjorn – Super Human

Some uplifting trance for this Freedom Day from trance newbie Andrew Bayer. He's been one of the stars in the ASOT700 parties and judging from this track, you can see why. The official music video was just released 5 days ago so it's fresh off the shelf.

                   

Monday Choon: Talemono vs. Above & Beyond - Overload vs. We're All We Need (Armin van Buuren Mashup)

We're being spoilt in South Africa of recent when it comes to the calibre of EDM artists that are visiting our shores, shortly after Ultra South Africa, Showtek graced us just last week and this week saw Above & Beyond play out to sell out shows in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. There's no doubting that A&B are one of the biggest names in Trance Music for the past 5 years, whether its classics like Sun and Moon or their live, unplugged concert in Porchester Hall, the Swedish Group have gathered a world wide following. Their weekly podcast, Above & Beyond Group Therapy (ABGT) has also grown in leaps as their 100th episode was celebrated at a sell out show in Madisson Square Gardens. This weeks choon is a mash up of their hit song "We're all we need" with Talemono's Overload, done by none other than himself, Armin van Buuren, the video is taken from his ASOT700 in Utrecht.

                     

Monday Choon: Tritonal - Ginsu

Tritonal, the music duo of producer/ DJ's Chad Cisneros and David Reed from Austin, Texas are no stranger to our Monday Choon segment with various remixes coming from them that have been featured before, most recently was a remix of their song "Anchor". Falling under the Mainstage Music label of W&W, these guys are pumping out the hits today's featured track is indicative of that. Ginsu has been out for just under 3 weeks now and as already being play listed around the globe in festival and chart shows. You can catch the guys podcast Tritonia on the various media streams as well. 

                    

Monday Choon: Protoculture - Pegasus

Nate Raubenheimer, doesn't ring a bell? Probably because you better know him as Protoculture. The South African DJ has been blowing up a storm in the local and international trance circuit over the past few years with his music and his last big gig was at Ultra SA in Cape Town. I was disappointed that he didn't make an appearance in the Jhb leg but I'll have to catch him some other time. He's signed up to Armin van Buuren's Armada record label and most of his stuff can be heard on A State Of Trance, just the other week todays featured track 'Pegasus' was voted future favourite by listeners of the show. It's a great track that's been getting airplay from Armin himself during the ASOT700 global parties. Always been a fan of his work and love it when he's on the ultimix on 5fm, makes me proud to see a local doing great things in the world of EDM.

                       

Monday Choon: Armin van Burren ft. Mark Sixma - Panta Rhei

If you've been listening to the ASOT700 podcasts,  you would have heard this song a good few times now as both Armin van Buuren and Mark Sixma have played it during their sets. I first heard at Ultra SA, at the time I had no clue what or with whom the song was by but it's one of those tracks that stay in your head and will come up at the most random times and it almost annoyed me that I didn't know who it was by. Well finally at the Utrecht leg of ASOT700,  Armin revealed the ID and production of the song with Mark Sixma. The song is called Panta Rhei which means the following of water. It's quite a cool track which you can never get sick off, trust me it's been on my play list for 2 weeks and I still love it! 

                     

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren - Together (in a State of Trance)

When it comes to trance events, nothing is bigger than Amarda Music's ASOT parties around the world. Every year Armin van Buuren assembles the hottest DJ line ups at various parties around the world to celebrate the next 50 episodes of his popular radio podcast ASOT. Next year see's it reach 700 episodes and Armin has just released the anthem for it. Together (in a state of trance) was played for the first time in episode 690 and is a banger of note. It's going to bring down the house next year at ASOT700.
