Monday Choon: KREAM - Paradigm

The Norwegian DJ duo return to our blog with their latest single "Paradigm", their music is certainly unique and their Liquid Lab podcasts are always filled with high energy melodic trance sounds which have big drops and high bass lines. It's probably why so many take a liking to their music as not many keep to the style they bring. Paradigm is more of the same with a few twists.

Monday Choon: KREAM - Manta

Apologies must be given, seems  we were sleeping on this one. The Norwegian DJ duo of brothers KREAM released this track titled "Manta" 2 months ago and while I did see it, I did not listen to it, big mistake by me. This past weekend while listening to their latest Liquid Lab mix, this was the second last track they played and immediately I went hunting for the tracklist to the find the name of this track, at the back of my head I thought it must be an ID as for such a banger, I'm sure its not released yet, but low and behold it was. It's not your typical track from the duo as it is a big more mellow than what we are used to from them but the bassline line and synths are pretty bang on to what they normally produce. Still gives you that good feel electro dance vibes. Such a banging track by KREAM, I recommend you turn up the volume for this one.

Monday Choon: KREAM & Millean. - What You've Done To Me ft. Bemendé (Drumsheds Version)

I don't think the duo Norwegian brothers KREAM have produced a track I haven't taken a liking too, no seriously, if you're a fan of their Liquid Lab sets, you will know exactly what I'm talking about. The energy they bring to their music is just next level, that gets you hooked in from the start to the end. Their style is unique but unmistakably theirs and theirs only. Their hit track "What You've Done To Me" has been a favourite of mine for a long time and now they've just dropped an exclusive remix of it which they debuted at the Drumsheds. This version has just elevated the track to levels that is dark room festival worthy with a more kick ass bassline and synths. Such a banger to start the week off.

Monday Choon: KREAM - So Hï

Norwegian DJ's and Record producers KREAM have been busy in the studio working on new sounds and beats for us and we're starting to see and hear their masterpieces as they being released. So Hi which follows the release of their previous single, Arrakis is much more techno sounding track with high synths and a deep base line. The vocals play a pivotal role in the track like most of their productions, this time contributed by Nicholas Neubert. The track is a catchy energising track that gets you going from the first second.

Monday Coon: Nina Simone - Sinnerman (KREAM Remix)

Who can forget the 1962 classic from Nina Simone "Sinnerman", over the years this track has been remixed and reworked into a number trance and house tracks and in 2023, the brothers Daniel and Markus Slettebakken, better known as KREAM have released their remix of it. Its a track that I'm a big fan off, I first heard on the sound track of the movie 'Cellular' but to have it remixed by one of my favourite DJ duo's makes it that much more special. The Norwegians add their unique sound to an already iconic sound track but still keep the essence of track and most importantly, showcase the vocals of Nina. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Monday Choon: Deadmau5 - Strobe (KREAM Remix) with Frank Ocean

We ended 2021 with a KREAM Remix and we're starting off 2022 with another one, either it seems we've struck a liking to the Norwegian DJ duo style of music or they're making some banging music. I'll put it down to a bit of both. This time round they've taken an iconic track from Deadmau5, Strobe and given it their remix / mashup treatment and included some lyrics from Frank Ocean. The track has such great synergy that it doesn't even feel like a remix but rather a rework. The beats and synths that were added onto the original fuse great with that iconic sound that Joel brought us, the tempo and BPM of the track has been increased a bit but the vocals still keep it melodic. It's an awesome remix of a great track and definitely the sort of vibe we want to kick off the new year with.

Monday Choon: Sonny Fodera, KOLIDOSCOPES, Sinead Harnett - Nah (KREAM Remix)

Norwegian DJ and record producer duo Kream can't seem to put a foot wrong this year it seems, Markus Slettlebakken and Daniel Slettebakken have been putting out some outstanding work in 2021 and with the production of their Liqui Lab sets, its only done them more good in getting their names out there. Today on the blog we have one of their remixes of the popular Sonny Fodera track which features Kolidoscpes and Sinead Harnett, "Nah". The track has been played on may of their sets as well as featured on Sonny's in the recent months, the remix which was released a few days after the orginal has gained more popularity than the original and with good reasoning. The up-tempo sound and vibe gets the BPM going and it has that distinct sound of Kream that we've come to know and love while still keeping the track very much to the original.
