Monday Choon: Grum & Amba Shepherd - Slow Motion

 

Scottish producer Grum returns to Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats imprint, alongside legendary singer/songwriter Amba Shepherd for their new collaboration ‘Slow Motion’.

A prolific progressive house producer and longtime Anjuna roster act, Grum releases his first song on the label in over four years. First joining the label in 2015 with his ‘Trine EP’ Grum quickly grew to a respected name in the scene.  He shared stages around the world with Above & Beyond as one of their frequent direct support acts and his music  has routinely been supported by; Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, CamelPhat, MK & more.

 ‘Slow Motion’ is Grum’s hyped return, teased by Above & Beyond at their recent shows in South America as well as the trio’s upcoming shows at EDC Las Vegas, their Australian tour and on further dates through North America.  Grum has also road tested the track himself over 2025 and early 2026 at his show across the United States. 

Monday Choon: Grum - Altered State

Scottish DJ Graeme Shepherd or better known as Grum released his Deep State album a few weeks ago and it features quite a few familiar tracks having them played on the various podcasts and sets this year. My pick from the lot has to be today's featured track, Altered State, it's been a firm favourite of mine since the first time I heard it on one of his live sets and when I hear it on Group Therapy the volume automatically goes up. His music is very techno infused and that's what I love about it, he doesn't scare to keep the electronic sounds flowing in his music where some tend to add house or other music genres to their work. Deep State is out for downloads on all music streaming platforms including YouTube, so give it a listen.

Monday Choon:Steve Angello feat. Dougy – Wasted Love (Grum Remix)

It's the first Monday of 2015, many people have started work for the new year today and what better way to set the mood than some awesome music. Steve Angello's song "Wasted Love" was a firm favourite towards the end of 2014 and as such saw host of remixes from it. Today's song is one of those remixes, by Grum. Not one of the popular ones from the collection but one which I feel is done brilliantly and has a good even flow and beat. Hopefully you will enjoy it as well!
