Monday Choon: Andrew Bayer & Oliver Smith - Rude Boyz

Grammy nominated DJ and producer Andrew Bayer teams up with British DJ Oliver Smith for today's featured track. The two have been releasing fire tracks for over a decade on Anjunabeats with both having similar trance and progressive house styles. Being close friends, it has taken some time for these two to compile a song together and it's everything that we expected it to be and more. Following the success of of his studio album "Duality" last year, Andrew has been on a bit of lul this year, while Oliver kicked off the year with his release of "Everything" where he teamed up with Tom Bailey and was featured on Anjunabeats Worldwide 11. Rude Boyz brings in that progressive house style with a hint of old school UK Garage with some great techno and trance beats. It's been a firm favourite of mine for the past few days and definitely one to get the energy up for the week.

Monday Choon: Jaytech - Limbo

Australian producer and DJ Jaytech recently dropped his "Next Level" EP which features a collection of his latest work but the first track on the EP titled "Limbo" was the one that caught me as its a classic of what we expect from him, hitting all the right notes, with a catchy vocal and high tempo bass line. Having  over 40 releases across Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, Jaytech is a common name if you're a fan of the label. The EP which features two stomping progressive house tracks alongside a disco house-tinted remix of ‘Nebula’ from Friday Afternoon Club. 'Limbo' shows fans one side of Jaytech’s staple upbeat sound, while 'Next Level' brings heavy kicks and basslines to the dance floor.

Monday Choon: Genix &. Sandy Chambers - Baby Baby

This one is for the 90's ravers, Genix who has fast become one of my favourite artists of late just dropped this remake of a major throwback from the group Corona! "Baby Baby" was released in the mid 90's at the time where electronic music was just making its surge into the music industry. With the iconic voice of the original artist in Sandy Chambers, Genix was able to remake this track, bringing it to the modern sounds that we're used to today but still keeping that uplifting funk that this song was known for. The new single arrives hot on the heels of ‘Dance Like Nobody’s Watching’, which earned support from Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 and Ben Malone on Kiss FM, as well as ‘Lights, Sound, Camera, Action’, a collaborative single with flowanastasia that featured on BBC Match of the Day and saw multiple spins on Sirius XM BPM and Diplo’s Revolution.

Genix finds himself featured again on the blog, the last time we featured him was after the release of his EP Warehouse55. The UK DJ and producer teams up with Ukraine born vocalist flowanastasia for his latest track "Lights, Sound, Camera, Action". The track is Genux through and through with that deep bassline with techno synths coming throughout the track. It has a 90's groove undertone that gives the track that catchy feel and add on the vocals, it's another banger from his bag of tricks. He released his debut album in 2018 titled Ultraviolet which saw him gain popularity in the EDM world, and helped his rapid growth in the industry. Today's featured track see's him teaming up with London based XIRA, which isn't the first time as his previous track with her "Tokyo" was also quite a hit. This one follows the same synergy between the too giving us quite a catchy song that has a steady build up with the vocals which then goes into a seemless flow which continues throughout the track.

Monday Choon: Jason Ross feat. Dia Frampton - Never Alone

US DJ and producer Jason Ross returns to the blog with his latest track in which he collaborates with American music singer and writer Dia Frampton. The song followings his melodic style of music in which he has been exploring since 2014 with the release of "Elements" on the Anjunabeats label. Jason has proven to be a versatile artist over the years, from trance melodic beats to dubstep and more. His gain in popularity is all down this and has seen him headline major festivals in recent years, most recently at North America's largest dance festival, EDC Las Vegas. "Never Alone" follows that same melodic trance and heavy bass style of production with the calm intro with vocals that build the synths in the background as it peaks towards the drop and chorus. It's expertly done like many of his previous work and its no wonder that he is getting the recognition he does in the trance world.
