Monday Choon: Ronski Speed - Nuru Mpya

 

Today's featured track was debuted at Anjunabeats Volume 17 live set about a month ago and I've been itching for it to be released since! German DJ Ronski Speed who has been on the trance music seen since 1997 has knocked this one out the park, Nuru Mpya is probably for me, one of the best songs to be created in 2026. The levels, the beats, the build up and the drops and how they all sync with the vocals is just electrifying and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I heard it for the first. He official released the track last week Wednesday and I've been listening to it nonstop since. 

Monday Choon: Ferry Corsten - Stake Awake

 

We kicking off the new year with some new music from legendary Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten. Ever since I was introduced to trance music, Ferry's tracks have been some of the most I've listened to. With his close relationship with Armin and heading the guest mixes after ASOT episodes on most weeks, its quite clear that his music has taken on a huge following world over. The style in which he produces his tracks vary from melodic sounds to hardcore trance but it still remains unique and on brand to him. Today's featured track is more along the melodic style with Diandra Faye providing the vocals to it. It's a catchy tune that seems to be doing well on the charts since his release late December and one that I find playing on repeat most of the time. 

Monday Choon: Andrew Rayel - One More Memory

 

Our favourite Moldovan Producer and DJ is back with another one of his euphoric sounding trance tracks. 'One More Memory' debuted on his podcast last week and dropped under 24 hours ago on YouTube. Monday Choon: Calvin Harris, Sam Smith - Desire

 

He isn't the worlds highest paid DJ for nothing, everything track he releases has already gained so much traction on social media that by the time it's released, it already shoots to the top of the streaming charts. Who am I talking about? None other than British DJ Calvin Harris, following on the success of his last release "Miracle" with Ellie Goulding, Calvin teams up with another fellow Brit, Sam Smith this track titled "Desire".  Calvin first played it at his set in Ushuaia in Ibiza and its been all over TikTok since. The unmistakable vocals of Sam Smith dominates the melody and it adds that distinctive difference that makes the track whole. It's another chart topper for sure from Calvin and one that will do well for the end of the European Summer. I can't wait to hear the remixes from this track which I'm sure there will be many.   

Monday Choon: Super8 & Tab feat. Nazzereene - Lightning

 

Finnish Trance Music duo Super 8 & Tab make a return to the blog with their latest offering featuring the vocals of Nazzereene titled "Lightning".  The DJ and Producer pairing consisting of Miika Eloranta and Janne Mansneru joined forces in 2005 and never looked back as they enjoyed massive success over the years and being signed on the Armind and Armada Music label. The latest offering follows their unique trance based sound with the vocals of Australian songstress Nazzereene that culminates the song ever so higher. It's a great vibey song that is bound to be a summer banger in Europe so keep a look out for this one. 

Monday Choon: Alok & Hugel - I Don't Wanna Talk (feat. Amber Van Day)

Brazilian DJ and producer ALOK doesn't need any introduction on the blog, his hit single "Hear Me Now" has been well received in the electronic dance music world and got his name prominent on the scene. In 2019 he was ranked 11th in the DJ Mag listing and he's forever experimenting with his music and style to keep his work clean and fresh. Today's track see's him team up with Spanish DJ Hugel for their track "I don't wanna talk". The song has a mixture of melodies which see's each artist drop a bit of their own signature style to it. Amber van Day adds the vocals to it, and ensures the song ties up well. It's a great track and slightly different to what we're used to featuring, hope you like it!

Monday Choon: Ku De Ta x Joe Stone - What You Do (feat. Sylvia Mwenze)

London DJ duo Ku De Ta are back with another cracker track, you'll remember most of their work being remixing or reviving older electronic tracks by adding their unique style. One of their popular tracks "Just be good to me" was released in 2016 and still is a favourite of mine. Their latest offering features Joe Stone and Sylvia Mwenze, titled "What You Do". It has a familiar beat with some elements of UK garage hidden in the background. The fusion of the beats and the vocals really is aurally pleasing and is one of those tracks that you can groove to very easily, the perfect track to ease into the week.
