There's nothing better than starting off the week with some trance music and who better than the king of trance Armin van Buuren who teams up with Andrew Bayer for our featured track of the week. "Serendipity" is a collaborative melodic trance single produced by Dutch trance icon Armin van Buuren and American producer Andrew Bayer, officially released on 7 May 2026. The track was highly anticipated by electronic dance music fans after being teased heavily as an unreleased festival ID. It serves as a prominent focal point for the A State of Trance 2026 compilation album.

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren x Martin Garrix feat. Libby Whitehouse - Sleepless Nights

 

When one of the oldest Dutch Trance DJ's collaborates with one of the youngest Dutch Trance DJ's, you know the track is going to be fire! Martin Garrix who previously teamed up with Tiesto for their track "The Only Way Is Up" and it was mega, this time round Martin teams up with the Trance master, Armin van Buuren for their track "Sleepless Nights" with Libby Whitehouse on the vocals, it is a proper Trance style track with some echoes of the early 2000's vocal trance styles. The melody is catchy, the beat is epic and its one of those tracks which gets you going and you'd want to listen to on repeat. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren feat. JAI RYU - Let It Be For Love

 

Another legend in the trance music genre gets a feature this week and its another one taken from his latest album "Breathe", yes we are talking about Armin van Buuren. This latest album of his is just dropping hit after hit and just when you think he can't do more he makes the cover of the Dutch Mens Health Magazine! Armin is just getting better with age, in both his music and his physique, but its inspiring to see what he is doing and continues to do for the Trance Music scene, this is why he will always remain a legend on the scene. This latest track features the vocals of Jai Ryu and has a catchy tune and a very important message. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. 

Ultra South Africa 2025 - Artist Announcment

The 10th anniversary of Ultra South Africa is almost upon us the line-ups have just been announced! Welcoming back the biggest dance music festival on the continent see's the likes of the biggest names in the industry, starting off with Dutch legend Armin van Buuren, the multi-award winning artist has served the dance music industry for decades and is part of the reason for the global trance movement, he will be joined on stage by fellow Dutchman Martin Garrix who is no stranger to South Africa has he's headlined numerous Ultras before. 

Also performing on the main stage as headliners are Californian music producer ISOXO, and electro-house DJ sensation KSHMR. This would be their first appearances at Ultra South Africa and they are bound to get the crowd going with their energetic stage presence and electrifying sets. 

RESISTANCE returns for both the Cape Town and Johannesburg legs of Ultra South Africa, headliners for the resistance stage include Mind Against, Massano, Fio Kraft and Culoe De Song. They will also be joined by local acts, for Cape Town, Ryan Murgatroyd, Talia Zaken, Mila Rose, Kong, Amy Mauritz and for Johannesburg, Sona, Abby Nurock and Natsa. A staple in Armin van Buuren’s live sets at Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Ushuaïa and most recently Ras Al Khaimah at his Seven Wonders Pillars of Creation set, ‘Love’ is a harder melodic anthem that leaves no club unshaken. It feels like dance music fans have waited an eternity for this one, Armin first dropped this one at Ultra Miami back in March. Since then, both him and Hardwell have been dropping it in their sets all over the world but kept us waiting for the official release. Well, last week Friday they finally released it and it was worth it. Following their 2015 collaboration 'Off the Hook', which became a global hit with over 100 million streams, the two superstars fuse their respective styles once again, blending Armin's signature euphoric trance melodies with Hardwell's cutting-edge big-room techno to deliver a powerful festival anthem that will undeniably thrill fans. Already a popular track in both artists' sets throughout 2024, the legendary pair teased the collaboration earlier this year during a special back-to-back set at A State of Trance Rotterdam, sparking a frenzy of excitement from fans both at the event and online.

Monday Choon: Camisra & Armin van Buuren - Let Me Show You

 

1998, which many would say was peak Rave at the time with Ministry of Sound and Ibiza slowly becoming the peak of EDM. DJ's which are common names to us now were still entering the industry and learning from the then heavy weights at the time. One of those DJ's was Tall Paul and his track "Let Me Show You" was played in raves across the world. Still to this day the track remains a club thumper and has been played in festivals from the likes of James Hype, Jax Jones and Solomun. With this in mind, Armin van Buuren decided to breathe some new life into the track by reworking it and dropping it first at Tomorrowland Winter. Since then it's been on ID for a while with the Dutch DJ releasing last week, just before the weekend which saw him play at the Dutch the F1 Grand Prix after he waved the checkered flag for Lando Norris victory. 

Monday Choon: Ferry Corsten - Stake Awake

 

We kicking off the new year with some new music from legendary Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten. Ever since I was introduced to trance music, Ferry's tracks have been some of the most I've listened to. With his close relationship with Armin and heading the guest mixes after ASOT episodes on most weeks, its quite clear that his music has taken on a huge following world over. The style in which he produces his tracks vary from melodic sounds to hardcore trance but it still remains unique and on brand to him. Today's featured track is more along the melodic style with Diandra Faye providing the vocals to it. It's a catchy tune that seems to be doing well on the charts since his release late December and one that I find playing on repeat most of the time. 

Monday Choon: Ruben de Ronde & Kay Wilder - Away From You

 

Ruben de Ronde, famous for being the second voice on the world renowned podcast A State Of Trance as Armin's has released his latest track in which he joins forces with Kay Wilder. Not many know that Ruben is also a DJ himself and has a host of releases and plays all over Europe under the Armada banner. Him and Kay Wilder join forces for their new single ‘Away From You’, together crafting a strong emotional and yet energetic bass driven progressive trance and melodic techno gem. Being premiered by Ruben de Ronde himself during his Ultra Miami set in March of 2023, ‘Away From You’ has grown out to be one of the steady picks in Ruben de Ronde his live sets during the 2023 festival summer, including live plays at Tomorrowland, Untold and Sunrise Festival. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren feat. Anne Gudrun - Love Is A Drug

 

Armin is back this week on the blog with another fresh you new track, this one has been a favorite among fans following plays at EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival Miami 2023 and A State of Trance in London, ‘Love Is A Drug’ has “mainstage bomb” written all over it. Captained by tremor-like kick drums, a fiery synth riff and an addictive vocal hook delivered by vocal star Anne Gudrun, this track is just what clubbers need to push on till the break of dawn.The track is classic ASOT type of music with all the right trance sounds and pitches. As stated earlier, it has been a big hit at the festivals and now that it's official out, it will definitely do well on the streams. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren & Punctual - On & On (feat. Alika)

 

In what could be one of the most anticipated album releases this year, Armin van Buuren's "Feel Again" is finally out and while we already had one of the songs "Vulnerable" featured on the blog a few weeks ago, there was no way we could ignore some of the others that are on this 34 track album. This weeks track is a major banger and he's opened with it at his ASOT 1000 shows in Netherlands and the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, On & On which features the vocals form Alika is a catchy high tempo track with a punchy bassline that had the crowds on their feet from the get go. Feel again is a very emotional offering from the Dutch legend, stating that working on it brought him reflection and balance on his life. From reconnecting to friends, family and fans to finding inner peace, ‘Feel Again’ means acknowledging harsh truths, finding out what really matters and letting that power a new step forward. Because in the evergreen words of Armin van Buuren himself, “we’re still learning and will never stop learning till the day we die.

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren feat. Vanessa Campagna - Vulnerable

 

As we reach ever closer to the release of his latest album "Feel Again", Dutch DJ legend Armin van Buuren has dropped another single that comes from the release. "Vulnerable' see's Armin collaborate with US songstress Vanessa Campagna. The song harks back to ASOT roots with a great mix of techno trance and vocals. The drop gives off a a club stomping high energy beat with perfect transitions back to the melodic vocals. The track itself is a masterpiece and probably the standout out one on the album, it evokes all kinds of emotions which is a great way to judge a trance song. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.  

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren feat. Stuart Crichton - Dayglow

 

The latest release from the Dutch Maestro that is Armin van Buuren titled "Dayglow" which is taken from his 'Feel Again' album trilogy. In this track, Armin teams up with Scottish singer-songwriter Stuart Crichton who provides the scintillating vocals for this energetic, wonder-laden production. The track is typical of what we expect from Armin with great synths and a catchy beat that would get the energy going on any mainstage party. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren feat. Maia Wright - One More Time

 

Trance legend Armin van Buuren has dropped an absolute fire track smack bang in the middle  of festival season in Europe. "One More Time" which dropped a few weeks ago, with the official music video being released on Saturday has been a hit since its debut and with getting rave success at Ultra Europe and most recently Tomorrowland this past weekend. It's a festival type track, an anthem of such that has a great feel good factor to it, on the vocals is Maia Wright and she keeps the energy going with her amazing sound, couple that with the rousing harmonies and euphoric beat drops from the track, its no wonder that it's getting the amount of airplay as it is. This track comes off Armin's upcoming album "Feel Again" so be on the look out for more from the Dutch maestro. 

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren & Sam Gray - Human Touch (Club Mix)

 

The name Armin van Buuren needs no introduction to the music world as the multi-award winning DJ and Producer has done it all in his career. He like many have been left frustrated with the global pandemic which saw parties and festivals shut their doors for almost two years but with most of the world beginning to open up again, him like many others are starting to pump out some new music just in time for their on stage returns. Human Touch was released earlier this month and features the vocals of Sam Gray, it received great airplay from many online radio stations and already has amassed over a million views on YouTube, last week Armin released the official remixes to the track and my pick of the bunch is todays featured song. The official club mix which was done by Armin himself is one of the examples of how you take a great song and make it even better. Being the original artist Armin probably had in mind the type of remix he was going to make for this song when producing the original track, the synths and up-tempo beat go well with the original vocals and it seems to work almost seamlessly almost as if it was an original track. It should be a hit at the upcoming festivals and I'm sure Armin can't wait to play to a large crowd again. 

Monday Choon: Luke Bond feat. Duna Lua - Habitat

British DJ and producer Luke Bond has been on the scene for a while but took a break for a year in 2018, while many labelled his return as a comeback, he insists he never left but rather spend that time out of the spotlight in his studio redefining his sound. In his early 20's Luke was one of the hottest names in the industry with his name being on the lips of every major artist and label, earning him an IDMA nomination and sound track credit on the hit US TV show "Sleepy Hollow". He's released many solo's on various labels but now he's signed onto Armind and has released some bangers of note since 2019. Today's featured track is one that I always liked but grew on me so much that I had it playing in my head at random times, it featured the vocals of Duna Lua and was released in August this year but still is being featured in a lot of sets and streams of late. It's one that I had to feature even though its 3 months old already, such a cracking choon, so turn it up and enjoy!

Monday Choon: Armin van Buuren - Turn The World Into A Dancefloor

Whether you're into trance or not, there's one name that is synonymous to the genre, some regard him as the father or God of trance music and he is none other that Armin van Buuren. The work he's done over the past few decades has been immense, not only in terms of producing music, finding talent but the work done by his weekly podcast which just snowballed into something epic that is recognized world wide as one of the biggest trance music shows in the world. He used to celebrate every 50th episode in grand scale with shows around the globe, taking the music that people know and love to every corner of the earth, this year he celebrates the biggest milestone, being the 1000th episode, it's really unfortunate that it happen to fall while the world is still trying to get a grip with this ongoing pandemic but never the less, the show goes on. Every year a special "Anthem" is created by invited artist as the halo song for the celebration, its only fitting that Armin made this years anthem, and encapsulates everything there is to him, his show and what he stands for. "Turn The World Into A Dancefloor" is achieving just that, while we all cannot celebrate together in one space, we can do so in the safety and comfort of our own homes and Armin is giving us something to celebrate about. Congrats to Armin and the Armada team on 1000 episodes of A State of Trance, a monumental effort by all and here's to the next 1000!

Monday Choon: RODG x Sarah de Warren - Do It All Again

Dutch DJ and producer RODG can be introduced as one of the most consistent in the business, in terms of producing damn good tunes one after the other. Many don't know this but he is signed onto Armada Music and some might say he is their best kept secret. Unlike other DJ's who produce one hit wonders RODG has been working hard over the years to create and release quality music which gets recognized by many DJ's in the industry. This week's track features the beautiful vocals of Sarah de Warren who also needs no introduction as she's lent her voice to many in the industry. Do It All Again is one of those mellow tracks with a great beat and vibe, with slow build-ups but consistent melody. It's a yet another great track by RODG so we hope you enjoy as much as we do!

 

Monday Choon: Farius - Steadfast

London based DJ and Producer Farius has dropped his latest album last month, From the Start and with it brought some great tracks. Our featured track for today is taken from that album, the track Steadfast has been give decent air play over the past month or so by many legends in the industry, from the likes of Amrin, A&B, Markus Schulz and Paul van Dyk to name a few. It surely will spur the talented Progressive Dance DJ on to produce more music in the future and hopefully they are as great as this.
