Monday Choon: Corti Organ x Achilles - Find A Way

DJ duo Corti Organ started of from humble beginnings with one thing in mind, sharing their passion for electronic dance music and over the years they've been doing just that which seen them snowball into the brand they've become today. The half German and half Croatian DJ have worked with many of the big names in the industry and have been featured by the likes of Armin van Buuren and Andrew Rayel to name a few. Today's featured track, 'Find A Way' is much like their other work which is inspired by 90s to 2000s trance, which has a great beat and groove with vocals to match. Hitting the sweet spot between catchy and colossal, this debut link-up between Corti Organ and Achilles is why main stages require structural reinforcement. Snapped up by Andrew Rayel for his Find Your Harmony label, ‘Find A Way’ is epic, melodically infectious and a surefire way to get crowds of thousands fist-pumping in unison.

Monday Choon: Andrew Rayel - Lifeline

The Moldovan DJ and producer Andrew Rayel has been a busy man over the past few years, I've become a big fan of his weekly "Find Your Harmony" podcasts as well in which he plays the latest tracks from prominent producers over a two hour show. His latest track off the Armada label titled "Lifeline" was just released a few weeks ago and already has had almost 200,000 views on YouTube. Picking up where he left off after "Feels Like Home", Andrew moves into a deeper dimension with a vocal cut reminiscent of his timeless 'Everything Everything'. The track which is vocal heavy that drives the bassline and main melody that calls for his unique arms spread and raised to the sky signature move. The track is the title track coming from his forthcoming artist album and if this is any indication of what we can expect from it, then I can't wait to hear the rest.

Monday Choon: Leonard A & Pavel Koreshkov - Frozen Dream

We're back to normal programming this week and as ever on a Monday we bring you the latest in Electronic Dance Music, today we have an interesting collaboration from little known DJ's Leonard A of Mexico and Pavel Koreshkov of Russia. In today's exclusive we have an interview with Leonard just to find out more about himself, his music and how he and Pavel hooked up to provide us with such a great track that is Frozen Dream.

Q & A with Leonard A

1. Who is Leonard A?

- Leonard A is a project that I started about 6 years ago, Leonard derived from my name Leonardo and the 'A' comes from my last name 'Anya'.

2. What inspired you to become a DJ/ Producer?

- I was inspired by many artists but I think that without a doubt the greatest influence was the music and talent of DJ Tiesto. At the time of the 2000s when I was just a teenager, I had his in concert 2 DVD and that was when I began to see how wonderful it was to get people on the dance floor.

3. Being from Mexico, what is the dance music scene like there?

- It is good, to tell the truth I have heard that many of the great DJs love to come to festivals in Mexico because of the reception of the Mexican public. It is difficult for new talents to grow unlike in Europe, but believe me people support when they see that you are good at this.

4. Your track Frozen Dream which we have featured today, you teamed up with Pavel from Russia, how did the two of your work together in producing this track track given the current restrictions the world is under?

- Well one day I received an email in my inbox from Sound Cloud and well it was from Pavel, he showed me his new track just finished and he wanted me to place some of my touches on it, although it changed more than 50% of the original structure but I think we achieved a good result and all this thanks to current technology, being able to send steam through the internet is a great advantage and communication thanks to social networks makes work much easier from your studio.

5. What can we expect next from you?

- I have not decided this year but I am thinking of taking my production to another level, more melodic trance, you know the days ago I was listening to the new album of 'Shingo Nakamura' and I was fascinated by how beautiful it sounds. I want to work on something like that and be able to start releasing some of that in Monstercat Silk. At the moment I have some tracks to finish and I hope to be able to sign them before the end of the year. Several remixes and music with great artists are coming.

The track Frozen Dream is amazing and from the first time I heard it on Andrew Rayel's weekly podcast Find Your Harmony, I was itching for it to be released and now that it has, I just wanted to share it with everyone to enjoy for themselves.

Monday Choon: NWYR - Drakaina

There's always tracks you hear on artist live sets which just captivates you, but they you go to look in the track list and it says "ID" so you patiently wait for it to be released. Seldom do they not get released but after 2 years of waiting I honestly made peace that Willem and Ward are never going to give us this track but then this weekend, while listening to an Andrew Rayel podcast, a familiar track was played which revoked memories from Tomorrowland 2017. Could it be? Have NWYR finally released this track? The short answer is yes and we have it here for you today. Drakaina is just as amazing now as it was the first time I've heard it. Their sound is so unique and distinct that it doesn't have an age to it, so even if I heard it three years ago, with its release now still sounds fresh. The duo seriously have no idea how happy they've made me by releasing this track, all trance lovers will share my sentiments as well.

Monday Choon: Nikhil Prakash & Tomac - Horsepower

Los Angeles based Progressive Trance producer Nikhil Prakash is no stranger to our blog with us featuring his track "Are You" previously. This time round he's back with another banger, under the Enhanced Records label, titled "Horse Power". It's a brilliant progressive track with a bit of hard style slipped in the middle. It's been getting decent airplay on the podcasts since its release three weeks ago, especially from Andrew Rayel and the likes. It's another great track from Nikhil and one that really gets the blood flow going, which lives up to its title Horsepower, turn up and get the week going.

Monday Choon: NWYR ft. Andrew Rayel - The Melody

W&W's trance alias NWYR teamed up with anothrt popular trance DJ on the amarda record label, Andrew Rayel for their latest release, "the melody". Andrew is no stranger to trance music and has been one of the standout acts over the last few years on the ASOT podcasts and live shows. Teaming up with the NWYR duo could only mean one thing, a track of epic proportions and thzyd exactly what melody is. It brings a marriage between the two sounds and works beautifully together, there are aspects which are clearly Andrew's input and vice versa with NWYR but overall a brilliant track that should be on your Playlist if you're a fan of trance.
