Ultra SA 2026 - Artist Line Up

Big news for all ultranauts dropped yesterday with Ultra SA giving us the full artist line-up for this years event taking place on the 25th of April in Johannesburg and the 26th of April in Cape Town. Unlike previous years where we had a phased artist announcement, this year they decided to just drop the entire line-up which in my opinion is better rather than playing the waiting game to see if your fav's are coming. 

The international mainstage headliners did not disappoint with sets from Afrojack playing back-to-back with R3hab, Axwell, DJ Snake whom all have played in the country before but making his debut and being the main headline act is John Summit. We're a big fan of what John has been doing and we can guarantee you he will be bringing that energy to the SA crowds come April. 

Resistance stage is back with Dennis Ferrer and SA's very on Shimza who's been creating "fire" on dance floors across the world headling that. Loads of support artists for the event is made up with some of the best local acts, such as Dean Fuel, Aidin Caye, Liquideep, Timo ODV, DJ Kent, Baby Whitz and many more. Monday Choon: R3HAB & KSHMR - Islands

R3HAD and KSHMR are two of the most successful DJ's of Indian decent in the EDM realm, each with their own unique style but when they combine, the Asian influence and fusion between them produces some great music. We've seen it before when they've produced songs together, one of my all time favourites being "Strong" which is still quite a thumper. The two have combined again and released a new track a few weeks ago titled "Islands". It seems like another great colab and we have it for you along with the official music video!

Monday Choon: R3hab & Quintino - Freak (Sam Feldt Remix)

The original track by Andina Howard never got as much recognition as it should have gotten but it was only until the Sugarbabes, yes remember them? Redid the song back in 2002 that people realised what a great track Freak was. Well 14 years later it was due for another rework and step in R3hab and Quintino who of recent have been making some killer tracks on the EDM scene, this one being another. Known for their hardstyle house music, this track seems to be a bit mellow by them but great none the less. 

                     

Monday Choon: R3hab vs Skytech & Fafaq - Tiger

R3hab, the Dutch DJ of Moroccan origin has certainly taken the world by storm in the past year. He's currently number 23 in the world DJ Mag rankings and set to jumper higher in 2015, with his unique style in electronic music, his ever growing fan base keeps on getting bigger with now over 1.1 million followers on Twitter alone. He's latest single featuring Skytech and Fafaq has just been released and the music video debuted on Friday, it's yet another top track for him to add to his collection and the music video is equally great. 

R3HAB & NERVO - Ready For The Weekend ft. Ayah Marar

Following the success from their collaboration on the track Revolution, R3hab and Nervo have teamed up to produce what seems like another chart topper. The Australian sisters and Algerian/ Dutch DJ have featured the vocals of Ayah Marar on this track. I know its Monday but the song is titled "Ready For The Weekend" so its kind of a contradiction but still and epic track that we couldn't help but feature, also look at it this way, it will get you amped for the week ahead to party on the weekend!

Monday Choon: R3hab & NERVO & Ummet Ozcan - Revolution (Audien Remix)

What do you get when you combine 3 of the freshest new talent in EDM and put them on one track? You get an instant hit, thats what you get. I saw R3hab last year in Cape Town and the guy is an unbelievable talent, the Nervo twins of Australia have earned them selves massive cred by working with some of the top names in the business and Ummet Ozcan needs no introduction with his abilities displayed at Armin van Buurens ASOT parties. Their song revolution is proving to be quite popular on beatport but another DJ, Audien most popular from Amarda Beats records has put a new twist to the song, perfect to get the week going. 

Monday Choon: R3hab & Ummet Ozcan & Nervo – Revolution

This track is quite a colab with R3hab of Morrocan descent, Ummet Ozcan of Turkish descent and the Nervo twins of Australia combining their talents to produce this mammoth track. It's received great comments from many DJ's who frequently feature it in their latest sets and having seen R3hab last week in Cape Town, this song is still stuck in my head since then. It's only appropriate that I share it with you lot. Enjoy!

DJ R3hab in Cape Town

Dutch DJ R3hab will be performing live at the Side Show in Cape Town next week Friday! He was recently voted number 58 in the world in the DJ Mag Top 100 and has played in major festivals such as Tomorrowland, EDC and UMF. He will form part of the DJ line up for Rage but for one night only he will be playing at the Sideshow (formally FEZ). You can find all the details below.
