Ultra South Africa 2020 - Phase 2 Line Up
Last week saw the release of the second phase artist line-up for Ultra 2020. Additions to the already star studded list include Chilean-Swiss DJ Luciano who will be touring the country for the first time. His music is strongly influenced by Latin American Music and his sets in Ibiza are world renowned. Another International headliner announced was the Dutch DJ duo of Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano who are legends of Ultra Miami. Their music style is progressive and their stage presence is second to none, they will also be making their Ultra SA debut and no doubt will be a strong favourite with the crowds as well. Last but certainly not least is the introduction of Camelphat as another of the support act, the British duo need no introduction to South African audiences as their hit single featuring Elderbrook "Cola" was played in full force around the country during its release. Since then the pair have made a number of hits as well as remixed some great tracks along the way, definitely one not to be missed come Feb next year. Monday Choon: Au/Ra & Camelphat - Panic Room
We got some deep house to get the week going today, British DJ and production duo Camelphat did a great remix of Alternate/ Indie songstress Au/Ra not too long ago. The original by her was released at the beginning of the year, has a more dark sound to it but Mike and Dave gave it a bit of an uplift-ment treatment, keeping the same vibe but adding those deep bass tones and that distinctive Camelphat beat. It's getting some decent airplay on some of the local stations and great track to listen to.

Monday Choon: CamelPhat & Elderbrook - Cola (Tom Staar Remix)
No doubt this was the song of the summer in SA, Camelphast & Elderbrook's Cola was the choice of many over the holidays and many a party would not be complete without this track being played. However it would be generic of us to feature that track, hence we sort out for the best remix of Cola and I think we've found it. The insert has been take from the live set of Steve Angello at last years Maya Festival in Thailand but boy is it good!
