Monday Choon: Steve Aoki - Lie To Me feat. Ina Wroldsen

It's been a while since we've heard from Steve, he has been making music but nothing that stood out, his latest collaboration with Ina Wroldsen has though. The name might sound familiar, as she had her hit single with Jax Jones "Breathe" topping the charts earlier this year. Her sounds with Steve, titled "Lie To Me" has sort of the same beat but at a much mellow frequency, you could be mistaken to thinking it is a slower version of Breathe but soon you'll realise it has it own characteristics and really a great track. It's a perfect chilled song to get the week going.

Monday Choon: Rain Man & Krysta Youngs - Habit

The last time I featured Rain Man on the blog was for his track "Bring Back the Summer" featuring Oly. It's been a while but the DJ from Krewella is back! Signed onto Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label, his latest offering features the vocals of Krysta Youngs. The song is a great offering from the trap music genre with high notes, good tempo but not that fast style high tempo stuff we're used to. Judging by the number of time's I've played it over the past few days, it's clearly a favourite of mine.

Monday Choon: Tove Lo - Taling Body (Panic City Remix)

This track has been on my playlist for a while now and it still sounds good even after a good few hundred plays. The original song "Talking Body" by Tove Lo, otherwise known as Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson of Stockholm, Sweden has done pretty well in the pop charts and there are a few good remixes of the track, one of which being The Young Professionals Remix but this one by Panic City just sort of sounds right. He's got a beat that just gels well with the vocals and tune of the original track, which makes the merge seamless. Panic City of LA has been signed onto Dim Mak's record label which belongs to Steve Aoki and has been producing some sick remixes, this one getting the recognission it deserves.

Monday Choon: 2 Unlimited - Get ready for this (Steve Aoki Remix)

Heres a name you haven't heard for ages, nope they haven't reunited to bring back more Eurodance classics but Steve Aoki has taken one of their greatest tracks and gave it some modern flavour. The Dutch duo, 2 Unlimited were pretty big in the 90's with hits such as No Limit, Tribal Dance and this all time classic "Get ready for this" I was a big fan of their music and you could say this was my first taste of electronic/ techno/ dance music. Even though its pretty old, you cant beat a classic.
