Monday Choon: Fisher x Kit Alexander - Atmosphere

 

Fisher just dropped his second track that made waves from Coachella earlier this year, Atmosphere featuring Australian vocalist Kita Alexander was another hit ID that everyone talking and trending on social media. It's a bit different from "Take If Off" which dropped last month, where that one was a more vibey energetic track with a hard bass line and catchy lyrics while Atmosphere brings a fusion of two spectrum's with Fishers energetic and rhythmic production style and soaring vocals from Kita, its a brilliant collaboration where the euphoric sounds mate well with the melodic vocals that extend to the drop which is exhilarating in its delivery. It's everything we expect from the ever enthusiastic Fisher and something we don't which is what makes this track so so good. We hope you like it as much as we do so turn it up and enjoy!

Monday Choon: Eli Brown - Be The One

 

Everyone is talking about Calvin Harris's set at Coachella, while we did feature his track Miracle with Ellie Goulding the other week, it's what transpired after his scheduled time that what had everyone talking. Artists who are last to perform on the stage have a curfew that they have to adhere to or face fines, with $20,000 for the first 5 minutes then $1000 a minute for every minute there after, this didn't deter the World's number 1 DJ as he went over the allotted time by 22 minutes! One of the tracks he dropped in was "Be The One" by Eli Brown, more notably known as his other stage name Gavin G. The British producer was in the crowd at the time and couldn't believe his ears when Calvin dropped his track, it since has been blowing up on all social streams on the internet becoming one of the most played tracks online in the past two weeks. It's a proper banger of note and sure to be one of the songs of the summer in the North, so turn up the volume and enjoy!

Monday Choon: Cara Frew - Dance

We're bringing some local flavour this week as apposed to International artist that seems to be the norm in this segment. Cara Frew's career has skyrocketed over the past few years, she's performed to some of the biggest crowds locally and in the world, including Coachella. I saw her perform live at Ultra and Corona Sunsets Festival, her energy she has on stage is mesmerizing and her voice is nothing short of beautiful. She currently is based in LA where she's signed onto Sony records and recently debuted her new single Dance. It has been played for about a month now on the local stations and has been received really well. It's currently one of my favourite tracks at the moment so it only fair that I feature it on the blog. Enjoy!

Monday Choon: Tiesto ft. Martin Garrix - The Only Way Is Up

If you were keeping track of all the festivals that were on going for the past month or so and one of these two featured DJ's played a set, you were , more than certain to have heard this track. The collaboration between Tiesto and Martin Garrix is something special with a legend in the industry teaming up with a feature legend. They both hail from Netherlands and despite the 28 year age gap they still manage to be in sync with each others style and managed to produce this great track.  It was used in the 7 Up commercial during Ultra Music Festival in Mini as they were one of the main sponsors. The song is officially released from today and available on Beatport.  It's sure to be a cracker.
