Since ABGT 350, last year in October when this track was first played as an ID in their set, I as I'm sure many others were wondering when the trio were going to release the damn track let alone give it a name! Well, I'm glad to report that finally, after almost a year, not only does the track have a name but also has been officially released! Last week Wednesday Above & Beyond officially released "Jam", a track that they made from a jam session some time last year. It's a track that harks back to their trance classics, it's a song that if you are an avid A&B fan would love straight away. The beats leading to the build up are indicative of some of their old music but fusing the new and old for the drop definitely brings this track to another dimension. Certainly was worth the wait, turn up the volume, get those glow sticks out and have a jam session to it.
The mind is like a bucket, filling up with thoughts, idea's all the time. So this will be an insight into my bucket.

Monday Choon: Maor Levi - Arcadia
Isreali producer and DJ Maor Levi has been around for some time now, with music listed on both Anjunabeats and Armind labels, he has fast grown popularity around the globe in the Trance music fraternity. His latest release which dropped last week, Arcadia was first heard at ABGT350 when the British trio of Above & Beyond played it during their set. It was still in ID form then but gained major traction, I mean its quite the event to get your new work heard. Working hard on new productions, along with Ilan Bluestone, there's no doubt we're going to hear more great music from him in the near future as many will easily embrace him with music of this caliber, for now though, sit back and turn up the volume to Arcadia.

Monday Choon: Oliver Smith - Warehouse
It's a new year and we kicking off the first blog post of it on the right note. It's been one of the tracks that many have been waiting in anticipation for ever since it's debut at ABGT350 last year. Oliver Smith is no stranger to the trance world as many are familiar with his melodic trance sounds on the popular Group Therapy shows. Signed with Anjuna Beats, the UK based DJ has enlightened many with his sounds and melodies, this particular track struck a few chords with me and I'm one of the many who are very happy to see it released this past week. It's a proper track to get you in the mood for anything, great build ups, great tempo and the perfect song to kick off the new year.

Monday Choon: DT8 Project - Carry On (Myon Return To 95 Mix)
English DJ and producer Darren Tate better known as DT8 Project had his track "Carry On" tweaked a bit by one of our favourites Myon in his "Return to 95 Mix". The track was debuted at ABGT350 in Prague by Above and Beyond themselves. The track has this very old school trance vibe which seems to be making a big come back at the moment. The drop has some elements of hard style but not too hard, if that makes any sense at all. The vocals and beat synths are done to perfection and it is one track that can definitely get you listening to it on repeat. It's just one of the tracks from ABGT350 that we will be featuring on the blog. There's loads of ID's which were played, that are amazing, we're just waiting impatiently for them to be released now.

Monday Choon: Above & Beyond feat. ZoĆ« Johnston ‘Always’ (Above & Beyond Club Mix)
In celebration of after hearing that Above & Beyond being announced in the phase 2 line up for Ultra South Africa next year, we decided it would be fitting to have one of their tracks as our featured song of the week. Always, with vocals by Zoe Johnston was debuted at ABGT 300 in the USA last year and has since become quite a favourite with fans of the uplifting trance genre, with it being quite a mellow track, the guys at Above & Beyond decided to up the bpm a bit by making a Club Mix just got ABGT350, the music video for the track is quite spectacular as its shot high up in snow capped mountains but we have the song live from their ABGT350 show in Hong Kong. Do enjoy!
